Story: 30 years long war between the opposing factions of two villages: Komappadi led by Narappa Reddy (Naga Babu) and Nallaguri led by Bappa Reddy (Jagapathi Babu) is affecting the lives of the people of both sides. Narappa Reddy's son Veera Raghav Reddy (Jr. NTR), who was in London for 12 years, returns to the village. On his way home, he loses his father in an attack by the opposition, after which he undergoes a violent transformation. He takes part in the fight, killing Bassi Reddy's men and later stabbing himself. However, realizing that violence may not be the ultimate solution, he decides to move to Hyderabad, hoping that the quarrels will ease as the opposition will have no one to fight. He goes to Hyderabad, befriends Neelambari (Sunil), and circumstances force him to live with Arvinda's (Pooja Hegde) family. Arvinda influences his beliefs and thought system.
